In recent months, we have spoken several times about early intervention, one of the cornerstones of our project. Today we are finally publishing a document summarising some of our reflections and learnings. Time emerges as a decisive factor in intervention with homeless people, who can lose skills, abilities and social networks by remaining homeless for a long time. However, timely intervention is not enough, as CESIS tells us in this article: it is important to accompany it by a redefinition of social work itself, to redistribute power in the welfare services and encourage participation and empowerment of final recipients.
