Following the past week’s video, doctor Pedro Perista again debates the issue of early intervention in the work with homeless people. In this video, the relevance of the time spent in a very precarious situation (e.g. rough sleeping) is considered a core factor in the “homelessness career”. Promoting early intervention would support States and private organisations to move from an emergency-based approach to a prevention-based approach for tackling homelessness.
